Thread is the important part of brass fitting

It Provide mechanical support and seal

Every thread have some very import information：Crest ,Root,Flank Angle,Pitch,Outside diameter.

Pitch：The distance between the thread like Crest to Crest,Root to Root.

And pitch have different writing method：metric thread, inch thread.common fitting’s

Metric thread pitch：1.0mm、1.5mm、2.0mm

Common fitting’s inch thread pitch：11、14、18、20

When the thread is Tapered thread. It also have taper angle.

Outside diameter: outside diameter(crest-crest)
